Alabama Pathology Associates, P.C. has been serving physicians throughout Alabama for over 50 years.  As Central Alabama’s only freestanding independent pathology laboratory, support from area physicians is critical to our continued success.

We have invested in state-of-the-art technical processing equipment and are blessed with an excellent team of technicians, couriers, billing, insurance and customer service staff.

Because of our independent regional laboratory status, we are in network and/or have preferred provider laboratory status with most insurance companies.  Because we are privately physician-owned, we are able to keep our patient charges much lower than large national laboratories, and we have flexible payment plans for those without insurance or with high-deductible plans.

While we have a core local group of five (5) board-certified pathologists who work closely together locally to render prompt and accurate diagnoses, we also partner with specialists around the nation for certain disease states or individual unique cases.  This allows us to offer you the best of both worlds: local service and support combined with world-class sub-specialists.

We can do this in real-time with state-of-the art, scientific-quality digital imaging capabilities to ensure you continue to receive a prompt, reliable diagnosis for your patients.

Pathology reports are provided via HL-7 interface, web reporting, auto-fax, secure encrypted email, hand delivery or USPS.
